As shown, I drew a tulip flower as the main subject. This flower actually represents a child and the black clouds above represents the mother. As a mother, she rained and the flower gains nutrients. As all mothers do, they nag and give advices that we do not like. However, the advices that they gave us actually benefits us. So, we should accept their efforts and accept the advices "rained".
Tribute to Mother- Poem
When I was alone
She said
Constant as the stars above
Always know that you are loved
With her love Shining in me
We'll have my dreams come through
That night I dreamt
I was crying
She came as an angel
With her waving wand
She told me
Embrace my dreams and
I shall reign in life...
I love her
Forever and Always

Tribute to Mother (Hazwani)
Watching the rain stopOut came a rainbow shining
Right on top
I saw a silver lining
I knew it was Hope
Hope from my mum
When life's a rising slope
She'll be first to come
Mum, you've given life to me
Standing by me from the start
You're like honey to a bee
You're the queen to my heart
- Hazwani
(12) 2E4This picture is drawn from the poem. The bottom of the picture shows many curve lines. This is showing that there are many problems in my life. The black clouds and rain is also representing the problems. The curve lines are then made into a rainbow which represents my mother. The rainbow is also attached to the black clouds. This shows that the rainbow gives me hope. There is also a rising slope which divides the picture and it shows the number of problems increasing.
Tribute to mother
A mother’s love
Is what I need,
A mother’s love
Is what she gives.
So can you guess,
Who she is,
The answer is:
‘My dear mummy’
She is plump,
Kind and sweet,
With a gentle smile,
Just like me.
She has arms,
Like my tissue papers,
That wipes away,
All my sad tears.
Her words are like,
My motivators,
That motivates me,
To strive harder.
So she is what,
I would call,
My one, true
And loving mummy.
A mother’s love
Is what I need,
A mother’s love
Is what she gives.
So can you guess,

Tribute to Mother-Shirah
You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweet dream in the nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
A hug to ease my fears.
You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.
I hope that when you think of me
A part of you
You'll always see.
Description of painting:
The fairy at bottom, represents the guidance of a mother who never fails to watch over her child. The hills at the background, represents the many obstacles that a mother will go through to just make sure that her child will succeed in life which is symbolised by the sun. Lastly, the rainbow shows us that mother is a human created beautifully and uniquely by god.

Symbolism
The term Symbolism means the systematic use of symbols or pictorial conventions to express an allegorical meaning. Symbolism is an important element of most religious arts and reading symbols plays a main role in psychoanalysis. Thus, the Symbolist painters used these symbols from mythology and dream imagery for a visual language of the soul.Symbolism originated in France, and was part of a 19th-century movement in which art became infused with mysticism. French Symbolism was both a continuation of the Romantic tradition and a reaction to the realistic approach of impressionism. It served as a catalyst in the outgrowth of the darker sides of Romanticism and toward abstraction.
This symbolism pictures are by a famous artist, Odilon Redon:

April Fool's Day
Mackenzie put a whoopie cushion
on the teacher's chair.
Makayla told the teacher
that a bug was in her hair.
Alyssa brought an apple
with a purple gummy worm
and gave it to the teacher
just to see if she would squirm.
Elijah left a piece of plastic
dog doo on the floor,
and Vincent put some plastic vomit
in the teacher's drawer.
Amanda put a goldfish
in the teacher's drinking glass.
These April Fool's Day pranks
are ones that you could use in class.
Before you go and try them, though,
there's something I should mention:
The teacher wasn't fooling
when she put us in detention.
--Kenn Nesbitt
From the poem above, the writer used rhyming words such as mention and detention.Rhythm
